Hey all, just had to share a neat experience I had with IGL Coatings' Ecocoat Kenzo. I decided to give it a spin, but in my own little twist—I tried it out on a phone screen to see if a laser could detect the coating.
Well, Kenzo didn't just meet my expectations—it exceeded them! The laser had no trouble detecting the coating, but then something unexpected happened. The fingerprint that we'd left on the glass (used for helping the laser focus) started to bead up. Created a pretty cool sight, if you ask me.
Seeing this happen drove home just how top-notch Kenzo's quality really is. The beading effect was a clear testament to Kenzo's water-repelling ability. Beyond looking neat, it showed me firsthand how Kenzo keeps surfaces free from water, dirt, and stains.

"Kenzo going almost 3 years strong"
Wouldn't be suprised one bit if it lasts past 4 years. Granted, this is my customers weekend car, but he also has an Escalade daily driver that is also coming up on 2 and a half years being coated with Kenzo... with zero signs of failing... zero water marks and zero swirls.
I don't know about yall, but this dang coating is impressive, it impresses me even more as time goes on and I see how it withstands things and keeps the car looking damn good.
